We learn to cook by watching our mothers and grandmothers. Every meal made by the hand of a Cajun lady contains a big sprinkle of love. Family is my life. No family gathering would be complete without my sisters’ green bean casserole, corn casserole, and apple pie or Mom’s corn machoux. I’ve perfected a potato casserole of my own concoction and everyone knows that Tammy brings the yams. Our parents, our children, our spouses together we make one hell of a meal.
